Finally, the pictures of my trip to San Francisco!Curtis and I caught a really early flight to San Fran, so the first day we were there was a pretty chill day. On the second day of our trip we were treated to go watch the Angels play the San Francisco Giants! The sun even made a surprise appearance and gave us burns to last the week. Here is Curtis watching two of his favorite pitchers play catch during batting practice. (You can enlarge any photo by clicking on it).
The next day we went out to a few different locations. Here are a couple of pictures from our first stop, the Palace of Fine Arts.
Next on the list was Point Reyes. Along the way we stopped at the San Andreas fault, but a beehive drove me away before I got any pictures. ;) Here is Point Reyes when I visited in 2007:
Here is what it looked like this time around:
The latter is more typical. Guess I got really lucky the first time around! The lack of sun just meant it was way more cold, but we still had a great time. Here we are enjoying the view!
The "30 Story" stair/ramp trail down to the Lighthouse.
The last day we were there we went to the Sutro Bath ruins. Here is a little hand-dug cave/hole we found:
We also went to Gheridelli Square, Fisherman's Wharf and Rainforest Cafe. We went to see Up in 3D (which was a blast, that movie is great!) and we took a fun ride standing on the side of the cable car. However, I was not a very diligent photographer so I have very little to show for all of that. In closing, here is a traditional picture of the Painted Ladies, just a couple blocks away from my Dad's where we stayed.
Thanks for the great visit!
