Two Summer Classes = LAME

So, I have been slightly taken aback by the work load that has been put on me by my summer classes. So far, I have taken 3 exams in two days (which also meant reading 30-40 pages of text book per day) and I have another exam tomorrow. Not to mention other assignments my professors have thrown at me. Anyway, I had a great trip up to northern California the week my spring semester ended and I WILL put up pictures this week... as soon as I find time to breath. :)

Done & Done

I am officially done with my first year of college! wooohoooo! Finals totally wore me out, so I am looking forward to having a break before summer classes begin. Ive really enjoyed my first couple of days off.

First, mere hours after finals were over, Curtis kicked off the summer in style by graduating (with honors!) from our college, El Camino!

He received an Associates Degree in Business Administration, as well as one in Economics. He will begin at Cal State University Long Beach in the fall to complete his Bachelors Degree in Business.

On Sunday, we enjoyed our first baseball game in a looonnng time. One set of my San Diegan grandparents joined us as we cheered the Angels on to a 6-0 win against the Padres!

Daredevil Emily

This is a video of a stunt that Emily attempted about a month ago. With all safety risks thought out, she took to the top of our staircase in a large box graciously donated by Curtis. What happens? You'll have to watch to find out ;)

2 finals and one lab report to go and I am done with school! (for spring at least..)

Summertime Resolutions

Since there is only about a week and a half left of my first year of college, I thought now would be a good time to set some goals for the summer.

(In no particular order)
  1. Learn to sew (and make something cool)
  2. Get A's in both of my summer classes
  3. Take my sister to the beach at least once
  4. Clean my room (this one is on all my lists haha)
  5. Not get a lobster sunburn the entire summer
  6. Backup my pictures!

Hmm, that's all I can think of for now.
